What buses is your district/operator retiring this year? Also, what is the oldest bus in your fleet?

Our oldest I believe are 2009 Visions - many of which are being traded in or tossed - I'd rather toss them!!!

JCPS has officially taken all 03 and 04 FS65 out of service and off the road to be sold off as well as the rest of our 02 CEs. The 02s will become activity buses. Most lots in the city have made all 05 CE, 06 CE, 07 CE and FS65, and, 08 CEs spare buses.
Out of all 13 compounds, Hoke has the most newest buses on the road with their oldest bus on a route being a 2012 C2. Wilhoit compound is using 2011 CEs as spares. 4 being hybrids, one regular.
Lees Ln compound is the second compound with the most newest buses running as their oldest bus on a route is a 2011 C2.

We are retiring our last 2001, and 2002 International IC CE buses from our fleet. Additionally, we are starting to retire our 2004 IC CE's. Any 1998, 1999, or 2000 AmTran CS were also retired.

The oldest known bus in my district is Franmar 95, it's a 1980s Thomas Built Ford B700 school bus that is currently being used as a spare.

Come to find out, a lot of them are being taken off of the road. They are junk and parts for them are starting to become hard to find. Some of the hybrid C2s have had transmission swaps so that they are no long hybrids. As far as the Internationals, they have been taken out of service. Part of the problem was when we ordered them, compounds were never told that they were to be put on local runs, so they were thrown on the highway which mean they couldn’t be used to measure properly for saving fuel.
