What creates stress for you while driving your bus? What activity/steps do you take to reduce it?

The stress levels since the pandemic hit is miserable. We are also short of drivers and that is not helping.
Having a proper work life balance is important. I'll get breakfast with some friends or mess around in my garden. If I'm too exhausted I'll just lay down on the couch and watch TV until I fall asleep. That happens more than I care to admit!

A nice lunch buffet is a good morale booster. We used to have potluck style meals in the break room and each driver would bring a dish. We haven't done that since covid. But we will still have food catered and that is always a treat.

Misbehaving kids that do not listen. Usually it is the younger crowd. I think it is just the fact that I am only 21 yet and don't have very much life experience to deal with kids. I just go with the flow and do what the schools tell me to do, which is write write write. Believe it or not, I much prefer to drive the older kids, Middle and High school. They are so much easier to deal with and are MUCH MUCH MUCH better behaved!!! Most of the time I end up having conversations with them and having a grand ol' time. I'm a very laid back bus driver for the most part.
