I figured I would ask this question since the third generation CE design is coming out very soon, probably around 2025 or so.

Seeing as International already has new-generation MV trucks out, this could be out for 2024 production. (I have to wonder if the CE name stays though) Though the body itself doesn't seem to have changed much from the driver compartment rearward (sharing some similarity with the Ward Volunteer body introduced 50 years ago), the windshield design is very interesting. Though not as tall as the C2, it certainly is far larger than its predecessor (if anything, it could win bragging rights for widest design in the industry). The picture of the prototype does not give a good perspective, but I have to wonder if International is trying to adopt the dashboard of the MV in its entirety (like Thomas does for the C2). Along with making use of the factory-developed HVAC system (in a slightly larger cab, of course ), the factory MV dash is designed to accommodate the addition of multiple onboard switches. The instrument panel also has a reconfigurable display; it would be interesting to see how that would be used in a bus setting. While it doesn't look all that different (it doesn't really need to), when looking at its MV chassis donor, this redesign looks to be a technological step forward.
