Have you photographed a bus and you'd like to know more about it? Feel free to share it in this thread and our community will help out! Examples would be to learn more about the manufacturer, model type, model year (guesstimate of course), etc.
Note: We don't judge! This thread is for everyone to share buses that they'd like to know more about. It doesn't matter how new or old the bus is.

Just did a lil more research on the vehicle and found out that it is a 1954 Olson Kurb Side delivery van that was converted into a bus. I have no idea why anyone would do this but you do you.

Considering that it is almost 70 years old, the Olson-body vehicle is in fairly decent shape (of course, we have to consider that aluminum doesn't rust like steel does ). Definitely a Chevrolet, though.

Anyone have any good examples for this topic?

I found this on Flickr, and I have no idea what bus this is. I have never seen a photo of a bus like this before. It also has the word "CUB" on its front plate but I have no idea what that is either. Do any of you know what bus is this? flic.kr/p/2oy2Wfa

If the information I found is correct, Cub was a spinoff of the Spartan trailer company. Very few buses were made? The post I found on a different website claims only 40 were built between 1950-52. I'm thinking this bus was converted into a school bus at some point and potentially built as a normal commuter bus (note that the original paint job of the bus appears red beneath the yellow/black paint). Link to post I found at a different forum: www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/1952-all-aluminum-cub-bus-w-flathead.1005230/

I'm not very good with stuff THAT old, but that looks to have an interesting story. Unlike the bus pictured in the article, the yellow bus looks to have been made into a school bus at a different point at its life, with the larger windows grafted in from a more modern bus. While it is more than 70 years old, it would be interesting to try and fix something like this up. It's pretty much a blank canvas both inside and out. (and there is plenty of room for mechanical upgrades as well ).
