Authorities are looking for suspects who vandalized eight school buses that belonged to Tippecanoe School Corporation in Indiana. According to the article, the buses were retired and awaiting to be traded-in so routes were not impacted. The affected buses had the keys left inside them which made it easy for the vandals to take them on a joy ride around the parking lot. Some of the buses were used to plow through a fence and into playground equipment. I'm thinking that this was more likely school-age perpetrators who saw the keys when doing something instead of homework and decided to play demolition derby with buses.
School bus drivers have a lot of job security right now (unless openly screwing up), and too early in the year to be disgruntled. Not even Labor Day yet.
