This morning, while at work, I was at the garage again. Not sure why I keep leaving my office to go there, but that neither here nor there. I noticed they moved the 22โs so I decided to get on one and check it out. Found out that they ordered them with cup holders in the typical IC spot(the driver compartment door, for those of you who donโt know). Was very shocked to see this as the C2โs are the only ones with cup holders. I also saw that they moved the last 2 90 Wayne Internationals that they kept to keep old parts in. I got a pic of one of them as well as the 22. Edit: I did upload the pics I got to my Flickr. Theyโre not the best, but I work with I got. Very cool to see! Thanks for sharing Matt. Shame that JCPS won't purchase C2's again.

harvestman , do you have any photos of the W-V RE with the first light sign? I would love to see that! I do have a couple of pretty terrible photos but they aren't worth posting, unless I manage to not get any better shots. Their #1, a newer CE, also has the lighted signs.

Nice find superbrownsheep! Cool that the person let you take pics around the bus. The paint has really faded on that one over the years. You know it is bad when they remove the factory lettering and there is a completely different shade of yellow underneath! Also on a side note, I noticed you mentioned the website redesign. We are definitely interested in your feedback if you have any! Being a grassroots website we want to do everything in our power to make Yellow and Black the best school bus resource on the net. Feel free to leave us your thoughts in the thread linked below. school-buses.boards.net/thread/13/suggestion-box

Which I did get confirmed, that the new buses will be HDXโs.

Does JCPS still use the hybrid IC CE/C2 buses that were ordered back in 2011? I'm curious how they are holding up.

Some of the 2011 C2 hybrids are still rolling and some of the 2012 C2 hybrids are rolling and others have had the transmission swapped to a regular trans to removed the hybrid functionality.

If there was a C2 Hybrid option, then Cummins would have had to make it's ISB 6.7 Hybrid Engine an option for school buses. As far as Im aware, Cummins currently does not provide Hybrid Engines for School buses.

Does anyone happen to know of any districts that have been selling off their EFXes? I stopped at Taylor Motors in Murray this past weekend to find several pre-owned EFXes in service for Fort Campbell. There was a #10 and a #11 along with one that was already re-numbered by Taylor.
